Owner Privileges
The Enterprise owner serves as the super administrator responsible for the organization account. This role encompasses managing users, assigning quotas, customizing the public profile page, updating account details, and designating administrative roles to other team members.
Key Responsibilities
Organization owners possess all privileges of admin Enterprise users, plus additional organizational management capabilities accessible through the avatar dropdown menu.
Accessing Organization Settings
Navigate to “Your organization” in the account dropdown menu to view organization settings containing profile information, authentication settings, user lists, user groups, and billing details – visible exclusively to Enterprise owners.
Managing Organization Profile
The “Organization profile” section enables owners to:
- Add an organization logo
- Set the organization website
- Manage marker images
- Define internal support email addresses
- Establish default user quotas
Managing Authorization Settings
Through “Auth settings,” owners can configure email domain authentication and control how users access the Enterprise account, including enforcing strong password requirements.
Creating Admin Users
When adding new users, toggle the “Administrator” slider to grant admin access. Only Builder user types can become administrators.
Managing Default Permissions
Owners can establish default permission levels for groups regarding shared maps and datasets. This setting is optional:
- When enabled, these permissions are enforced organization-wide
- When disabled, Enterprise users control their own sharing preferences
Managing Billing and Payment
The “Billing” section provides access to payment and billing details for the Enterprise account.
