Admin Privileges
An Enterprise user with admin privileges has the capability to create and manage users within the organization.
Key Admin Capabilities
The Enterprise owner can delegate admin status to multiple users, allowing organizations to have several administrators. These admins possess all regular Enterprise user privileges plus organizational management functions.
Accessing Organization Settings
Admins navigate to organization settings through the account dropdown menu by selecting “Your organization.”
User Management
Admins can view and manage organizational users by clicking the users count. The interface allows them to:
- Create new user accounts
- Send email invitations
- Designate user types (Builder with read/write access, or Viewer with read-only access)
The available seats reflect the organization’s Enterprise agreement terms.
Group Management
Admins can establish and oversee user groups through the Groups section, enabling them to assign permissions on a group level. Groups facilitate dataset and map sharing for team collaboration.
Notification Management
The Notifications feature allows admins to send alerts up to 140 characters to users filtered by role (Builder or Viewer) or broadcast organization-wide. Admins can resend or remove notifications as needed.
Multi-Factor Authentication
Admins can enable multi-factor authentication for individual users, requiring setup and verification code entry at login. This proves particularly useful when users need to reconfigure their Authenticator app access.
