How can I get an API Key?
Why do you need this?
An API Key is required for interactions with CARTO Engine APIs, including developing mobile and web applications, using ETL tools, or managing Enterprise users programmatically.
What is an API Key?
CARTO’s API Keys are tokens to enable requests to CARTO’s APIs (Auth, Maps, SQL, etc.). These keys identify your project and provide access management capabilities for CARTO’s resources like APIs and Datasets.
Which plan do you need to have an API Key?
CARTO’s API Keys are only accessible for Enterprise Engine plan accounts. Standard or lower-tier plans do not include API Key access.
